The latest edition of the Jisc Beyond the technology podcast has a focus on the current Beyond Blended pilot programme, which you will know is something that has been a central part of my work for the last few years. Sarah Knight expertly facilitated a really rich conversation between the institutional leads of three of the pilot project – Dr Jonathan Eaton (University of Cumbria), Dr Emma Heron (University of Northampton), Dr Julie Blackwell Young (Abertay University) and myself.
The conversation focused on insights from the first research phase and illustrated how the beyond blended resources – particularly the strategic lenses, pillars, and activity cards are reshaping staff development, curriculum design, student engagement, and assessment practices. The podcast further enriches the narratives shared in the Beyond Blended in Action report, which shares evidence and experiences from all the phase 1 pilot projects.
